My Immortal Love Plot Summary

Unemployment might have scared Lana Lewis in the My Immortal Love movie, but nothing beats the anxiety she felt when a ghost chases her up to her own home. Since she has no reason to believe that the supernatural world has suddenly decided to target her, she tries everything she can think of to get rid of the ghost. Handsome ghost.

She reads the Bible, sprinkles salt around the house, and searches the internet for every exorcism method she can find. Unfortunately, none of them work. Praying to god might have worked if they weren’t the reason why this drop-dead gorgeous man roams the world like a ghost when he isn’t.

Augustus isn’t actually a ghost. He is a human who lived 2,000 years ago and was cursed by the gods after defying them. In the past, Augustus was an augur, essentially a high priest responsible for serving the Roman gods. His fate changed when he destroyed the Spring of Youth and disrupted a ritual by freeing the person who had been chosen as a sacrifice.

The gods were petty and forgiveness is not in their dictionary, so Augustus was punished. Oh, mercy is in the book, but not in these gods’ hearts.

For two millennia, Augustus has been forced to walk the Earth while remaining completely invisible to everyone around him. He cannot properly interact with humanity, form normal relationships, or even have someone acknowledge that he exists.

Apparently, the gods don’t believe in simple consequences. Augustus interfered with their plans once, so they decided that the reasonable response was to give him 2,000 years of supernatural solitary confinement.

After spending so long, seeing the world change, an era ending, Augustus is already tired.. So when he discovers that Lana can actually see him, he immediately realizes that she may be the person capable of changing his fate.

Lana, however, isn’t ready to accept that the strange man following her is an immortal from ancient times. As far as she’s concerned, there are probably more reasonable explanations for the invisible man suddenly appearing in her life.

She begins to reconsider her doubts when her stepmother arrives the following day and causes a scene outside Lana’s house. The woman claims that the property belongs to her. Lana refuses to surrender it, but the situation quickly becomes difficult when her stepmother and her daughter try to force her out.

Fortunately, Augustus is there. Using his supernatural abilities, the invisible immortal manages to frighten the mother-and-daughter pair away, finally giving Lana a reason to believe that he really is what he claims to be.

As Lana gradually accepts Augustus’ story, the two begin spending more time together, and their strange relationship starts turning into something much more meaningful.

Lana eventually invites Augustus to celebrate their birthdays together, only to discover another bizarre connection between them: they were born on the same day and at the same time.

During their celebration, Lana learns more about Augustus and the curse that has controlled his existence for centuries. In her drunken stupor, she even promises that she will be his miracle.

Unfortunately for Lana, making promises around ancient gods in My Immortal Love YouTube is apparently an excellent way to invite trouble.

She soon discovers that breaking Augustus’ curse requires a sacrifice. And considering the gods have already spent 2,000 years punishing one man for interfering with their plans, they clearly aren’t about to make the solution convenient.

Near the resolution of the My Immortal Love movie, the Renfields threw a party for Augustus. Apparently, the Renfields have dedicated their lives to the ‘Guardian’ because Augustus once saved their family in passing.

James Renfield, the youngest heir of the Renfield Family announces that he has met the Guardian. However, for a family as wealthy and large as theirs, an internal war is unavoidable. His uncle threw the party to disprove James’ claims—because whoever the Guardian chooses will inherit the Renfield Company.

Augustus doesn’t care about their war, but James’ uncle decided to include Lana in his scheme. It angered him. The party hasn’t started yet, but Augustus ended it with a warning.

Though, if you watch My Immortal Love YouTube, you’ll find out that Augustus is actually fond of James. He’s the boy he saved after all.
