She’s just waiting for the Crimson Vanguard to contact her. But before she leaves the Silver Crown Pack, she wants to give them a surprise—and probably some drama.

As expected, Selene started her own show. She claims that her stress disorder was triggered by Lyra’s scent. As a very capable parent, their father ordered Lyra to never leave the storage room. That’s what Lyra wanted too, so she complied. She’s just waiting for the day Selene finally asks for what she really wanted—and that day arrived shortly.

All the scheming was to force Alpha Kael to marry her instead. Lyra agreed. She pretended she would wait for Alpha Kael like an obedient doll. But as soon as they all left, Lyra unilaterally severed the soul bond.

It’s a good thing that The Alpha’s Broken Mate movie did not end the way most ill-fated werewolf romance stories go.
