Gemma is the female lead character of Claimed By The Alpha Book. Gemma had a hard time living with her father because of his ways. A dominant man, he was always in Gemma’s way as far as she was concerned.

Gemma was a fun loving and care-free girl, so? Imagine how she felt living closely under her father’s scrutiny. It was draining and she could not hold still.

Gemma wanted freedom, so she ran away from living with her father. Far away into the other side of the country, Gemma thought that she was free indeed. Well, if only she knew.

Straight into the arms of another imposing, dominating and nasty man, Gemma found herself struggling again. Should she have kept her cool with her father? This new man that Gemma had under her radar appeared to be worse than her father.

What was his problem with her? Why did she upset him so much even without doing anything? Gemma tries to run again, but this time, it is not so easy to get out of the eyes of Aiden.

Gemma complained that it was as if he was everywhere. If Gemma ran to the North, there she would find the man she was running from. If she ran to the East, there he was waiting for her.

Maybe Gemma was just bound to have herself under the tight watch of the men around her. Maybe it was the decision of the moon goddess, right? Because what was it about Gemma that led her to the territory of men that were stuck up?

Look at this scenario. Alpha Aiden had asked his brother to hire an assistant, but to make sure it was not a female. Okay? That’s an easy instruction, isn’t it? Except for the fact that Alpha Aiden’s brother did not listen to him.

Out of the blues, he hired Gemma. At this point, Gemma had moved to the other side of the country, running away from her father. Little did she know that she was running into a worst-case scenario.

As the assistant to Alpha Aiden, Gemma could confess that her father was a better option for her. This man, this Alpha, Aiden was beyond controlling.

To start with, there was something about Gemma that obviously out the Alpha off. Alpha Aiden was said to have a bad temper whenever Gemma was around him.

What was worse, his wolf always wanted to come out, but he held back. Imagine Alpha Aiden’s wolf finding its way out when he had a bad temper? It would be a sick and gory sight if you ask me.

Well, Gemma thought it was time to run away again. After all, that was what she did the best, right?

But would Alpha Aiden let her go away from him? It was already obvious that there was no hiding place for Gemma as far as Alpha Aiden was concerned. The Alpha always showed up anywhere Gemma ran to.

What would Gemma’s choice be? Would she run away from werewolves and live with humans? What would she decide?

Part 3: The Essence Of Claimed By The Alpha Book

Honestly, how far away from our problems can we run? Imagine of Gemma had talked to her father about his ways, maybe she would not have had to run away, right? No, because it was not as if her running away yielded relief. No. She entered a worst-case scenario.

Would Gemma pull another runner? Alpha Aiden was nasty. The Alpha was nastier than Gemma’s father, and he had his eyes on Gemma. In fact, we can only imagine how he claimed Gemma. Yes, he is the Alpha being talked about in the book title.

This Alpha never took no for an answer. He was strict and uptight as everyone knew him. But there was a peculiar feeling he had anytime Gemma was around him.

First of all, how did Gemma find herself around Alpha Aiden?

So, she had moved to the other side of the country while running from her father. Gemma was hired in a company as the assistant to the CEO.

If only she knew. If only Gemma knew that her CEO was the Pro-Max version of her father. Yet again, into the scrutiny of another man. Even worse, this one was Gemma’s boss. Imagine having a boss like Aiden?

So, what was the use of running away from her father then? Gemma should have stayed with her father and faced him head-on.

She had better not run away from Alpha Aiden too. For how long would she keep running away?

Conclusion

Claimed By The Alpha is an interesting werewolf romance novel. The author of the novel tries to make it clear to us that running away from our problems is not the best option. You leave them unsolved.

The book has a fast-paced plot that enables the readers to enjoy continuity. There are no dull moments throughout the totality of the novel. We have a good author to thank for that. Not allowing herself to steer of the plot’s essence is something that not all authors can achieve.
