Part 1. Presenting The Characters of How To Tame A Silver Fox

1.1 Jesse Morales as Chris Collins

This irresistible, maddening silver fox at first tries to control his profound feelings for her best friend’s daughter. His name is Chris Collins, the hunky lad who made the stubborn Harper fall in love with him. He is the last person that Harper expected to pick her up during that rainy night. But even in his early 40’s, he still looked dapper, and sexy in his own simple ways.

He spent most of his adult life building his business and also busy developing his fighting skills. Since Harper was alone, his best friend, who happened to be her dad, asked him a favour to take care of her. It pissed her off as he coercively corrected her careless behaviour. Yet beneath his calm yet dangerous aura lies a dignified heart that aimed to protect Harper at all costs.

The astounding actor behind Chris’ role is none other than, Jesse Morales. He is an American exotic dancer, actor and model. His outgoing and gregarious nature made him easy to work with. But because she wanted to enjoy her life in college before she graduated, she threw a party to gain connections. That night, Chris came into her life and started to change her old childish ways.

Although she wanted to take control and kick him out of the mansion, she could not do it. Chris’ charm was just too hard to handle which melted her heart away. Later on, she fell in love with him and agreed to do what pleases him in the bedroom. It was a dangerous yet delectable rendezvous that she had not experienced before.

1.3 Sara Quiriconi as Milana Kaufman

A drama series would not be completed without the villain. Of course, here is Milana, the woman who is obsessively in love with Chris. She follows him everywhere and even finds him in Harper’s residence. She tried to drown her in the pool and nearly killed her out of extreme jealousy. The actress who seamlessly portrayed this character is Sara Quiriconi. She is an actress who brings depth to the way she tells her story. During her free time, she loves doing yoga, tactical pistol training and swimming.

1.4 Augustin De Beaumont as Bryan

Bryan is also one of the villains in the ReelShort drama How To Tame A Silver Fox. He is Harper’s scumbag ex who could not get over with her. He still pestered her around just to take advantage of her again. The actor behind this bad guy character is Augustin De Beaumont. He is based out of LA and pursued acting since he was a kid. His first acting training happened in a theatre which happened to be his first love.

The insecure girl who made Harper’s life miserable is Christina. She is one of the mean girls at school and even thought of ruining Harper’s painting project in the art exhibit. Her indifferent personality only led her to humiliation as she and her friend, Becca were suspended for sabotaging Harper. Now, this role was marvellously played by Stacey Marie Keba. Part 2. How To Tame A Silver Fox Fantastic Storyline

Harper had no intention to get involved with her dad’s best friend, Chris. All she wanted was freedom, to pass her finals and to have fun with her peers. But since her dad wanted her to be safe, Chris was asked to look after her and even live with her under the same roof. But as soon as he unexpectedly took control of her chaotic life, things started to change.

Chris possesses a protective personality. He didn’t let her get out of his sight, always there to check up on her as it was what he was told. Infuriatingly bossy, Chris annoyed Harper so much that she wanted to get rid of him. Together with her smart slash nerdy bestie, Maria, they came up with a plan to successfully kick Chris out of her life.

The plan? She had to dress provocatively, be extra flirty and vulnerable enough to seduce him. With that, it would be easy for her to make him fall in love with her. If that happened, she would easily control him. Confident of what they thought about, she believed it was enough to weird him out and convince her dad about it.

To her surprise, what happened was the opposite. Chris had this inexplicable magnetic charm that she could not resist. Little by little, their connection ran deep, leading her to fall in love with him. Yet Chris was indecisive about whether he would take things seriously with her or just forget about his feelings.

From being a sassy college senior, Harper started to mature and make important decisions in her life. It was Chris who taught her how to be responsible enough for her actions. Until they both dared to stand for what their hearts were saying. Wicked and bold, their relationship got stronger, unbothered by what others would say.

Part 3: The Heart-Stopping Episodes Recap

3.1 Episode 2

While heavy rain poured down, Harper was stuck in the streets, being violated by a perverted man. It was then that she found herself saved by Chris, her dad’s best friend. It had been five years since they saw each other, and she was shocked by his dashing appearance, way hotter than before. But instead of a warm welcome, Chris reprimanded her and even called her kiddo.

As they were driving home, Harper retorted with a reminder that he had a distracting wet arm. Chris was unfazed, telling her to dry it off. The tension started there as Harper obeyed his command, showing she was not a kid anymore.  

3.2 Episode 4

While inside the car, Harper wanted to stop by a nearby convenience store to buy some liquor for the party. But before she could get out, Chris caught her off-guard. He didn’t scold her just because of staying out late but because of her see-through white dress. Knowing she was wet by the rain; her underwear was clear to see. Harper argued, saying it was her body her rules. But before she could say more, Chris took off his shirt and wrapped it around her shoulders. He must be infuriating but it was evident how protective he was.

3.3 Episode 9

As the party went on, Christina, Harper’s insecure nemesis, secretly stole her diary. While everyone was busy with their own thing, having fun, Christina stood up in the middle. She started to read it out loud, humiliating Harper. To further tarnish her reputation, she even came out with some false information, saying Harper had wild fantasies about Chris. Everyone could not believe it as Harper’s face flushed in embarrassment. Later on., Chris cut through the chaos and ended the party.

Part 4: Lessons Learned From How To Tame A Silver Fox Ending

How To Tame A Silver Fox was wrapped in a slow-burn romance. But what can we learn from this gem? Age doesn’t always equal authority, both in love and life. Chris was obviously older than Harper. But in their case, they had similar emotional blind spots, which were dealt with in the later parts of the film. Harper even challenged him not to be afraid of what their relationship might turn to in the future. For her, what mattered most was the now.

Another one is that love can be messy and complicated. But it didn’t mean that it would not change into something meaningful and worthwhile. Harper and Chris’s attraction was something they could not control. Following their hearts was the greatest thing they could do. Sometimes, love is found in the most inconvenient moments of our lives. Plus, it should not always follow societal norms. As they say, age is just a number.
