Part 1: Step Aside I’m the King of Capital Summary

Step Aside I’m the King of Capital plot started with the newly elected State President visiting the prison with his secretary to thank the very person who helped him secure the position, Cassius Adams.

As the CEO of the leading financial company, Enros Group, in the world, Cassius owns the economy and so the people in positions. However, he lets himself get locked in prison for the woman he loves, Isabella.

Six years ago, he met Isabella in a hotel and mistook her for the woman who saved him. He devoted himself to her in gratitude and even took the fall for the crime she committed.

Cassius stayed in the prison while Isabella’s career as a reporter soared—with the secret help of Cassius, of course.

Six years later, Cassius asks for parole, so he can get released on the day he promised to propose to her. He plans to reveal his real identity to Isabella and give her an exclusive interview with Mr. S, the mysterious CEO of Enros Group.

He prepares the ring, the surprise, and as he buys her favorite pastry, he bumps into Freya Sterling, arguing with her supposed arranged marriage partner. As their argument heats up, Freya’s daughter runs to Cassius and declares him as his father.

Seeing as the arranged marriage partner, Preston Norton, is getting aggressive, he helps them drive away the guy. Freya, thinking Cassius is just a homeless guy who has just come out of prison, offers him money to marry her.

Cassius rejects her, not knowing he’ll also get rejected by Isabella. She scorns his status and lack of money. She deems him unworthy of her status as the next Director of News at Mirror Media.

Seeing her true color, Cassius, without hesitation, moves on from her and accepts Freya’s offer. What follows is a series of revenge and face-slapping moments! But how about his relationship with Freya—and the woman who saved him?

Part 2: Flipping the Pages of the Step Aside I’m the King of Capital Book

Does the Step Aside I’m the King of Capital Book Exist?

Step Aside I'm the King of Capital book

This newest addition to ReelShort’s movie roster makes an excellent source material for a novel. Unfortunately, the Step Aside I’m the King of Capital book does not exist.

Everything you’ve watched in the movie was originally written by the production. You don’t get to read it on paper or on any online novel platforms. It’s a pity because this ReelShort drama has the potential to become more nuanced if written.

They can explore the past between Freya and Cassius (spoiler alert: Freya was the woman six years ago).

The introduction of Freya’s daughter, Elsa, in the movie also feels short of being exciting and plot-important. They can rework that in the novel.

They can increase the romantic moments between Freya and Cassius so as not to make it seem that the latter is superficial, only loving the former when he discovers she’s his savior. That’s not love.

Step Aside I’m the King of Capital book adaptation will be an epic success if this idea and agenda are realized.

Is there a possibility for Step Aside I’m the King of Capital Novel Adaptation?

Good news! The production doesn’t close its windows for the Step Aside I’m the King of Capital novel adaptation. Still, this is up for the viewers to decide since future development of each movie depends on how well-received they are in the community.

There might also be a Chinese drama adaptation with your favorite Chinese actors. They make the most exciting revenge dramas (and taunting expressions).

Part 4: Conclusion

The Step Aside I’m the King of Capital ReelShort movie dabbles in themes like revenge, gratitude, and karma.

Revenge, as the core, drives the plot of the movie. If not for Cassius’ desire to get back at Isabella, he wouldn’t have accepted the marriage offer of Freya. They wouldn’t know that they share a past, and a kid.

But then, Cassius’ drive for revenge is the gratitude that Isabella fails to see and even mocks. Well, she’s not even the supposed recipient of it.

Then came last, the karma. After all the villains in this movie did, Freya and Cassius are their karma. What comes around goes around.
