Part 1: Inside The Boss Your Wife’s A Whole Detective Movie Plot

Jenny Keller strove hard in life to be a detective. Right after graduation, she aimed to work for a top-notch investigative agency. While making ends meet and chasing her dreams, she had to fulfil her promise to her late mom’s BFF, Mina. Three years ago, she married her son, Charles Rosent, but never met him even once.

Now that Charles was about to return from abroad, she was ready to take a chance on love. He was told by his mother to meet his wife in a red fishtail dress. But minutes before he arrived at the airport lobby, Jenny’s dress was stained. So, she had to go to her car and put on her coat. Charles was astounded by her beauty, but he thought she was not his wife.

It was also then that he saw a woman wearing the exact dress. She was beautiful, who happened to be Jennifer, Jenny’s coworker. As Charles was about to approach her, a man came and kissed her. Without asking, he concluded that his mystery wife had been cheating on him while he was away.

This momentous scene set the story in motion. It was one of the most important scenarios and was called the meet cute. Jenny and Charles were bound to see each other after three years of being married. However, a peculiar circumstance happened, which made their relationship extra complicated.

There was a misunderstanding that made him decide to file for a divorce. Charles mistook Jennifer for his wife. It sparked many speculations in his mind when he saw Jennifer with another man at the airport. He could not stay married to a woman like her. So, he called his assistant about his plan.

This life takeaway made us realise that no matter how delayed our plans were, things would still turn out perfectly fine. Confusion and deception might cause some destruction. But when the right time came, everything would be alright. Just like Jenny and Charles did, they underwent several challenges.

But in the end, they still found out the truth. Lies were unravelled, and it was testified how fate could do wonders. He might have made a careless decision to file for a divorce. But at the right time, he realised that the woman he mistrusted was the woman she loved the most. Even in the darkest times, the truth would guide and heal us.

4.2 Letting Go of Pride

One of the greatest lessons we could get from this series was letting go of pride. In love and relationships, we cannot stay if we only care for ourselves. It was always important to stop being egoistic. Charles misjudged his mystery wife before. With that, he almost lost the woman he chose to love forever.

But when he learned how to be selfless, he opened different doors. He not only humbled himself, but he also acknowledged his mistakes. Jenny also chose to forgive his careless decision. Their journey showed that too much pride would lead to nothing. We have to be open and humble enough to build a long and lasting marriage.
