Part 1. What To Expect From The Callsign Legacy Storyline

Cole Summers grew up with his father, Rick, in jail. But when he received a toy FA-18 Super Hornet on his eighth birthday, his interest towards becoming a pilot was unleashed. Fifteen years later, his father was freed and was crippled. He worked for the Navy, but as a low-ranking janitor. He was belittled, thinking that being a pilot was an impossible dream.

Little did he know, his father once served in the Air Force and used to be a fighter pilot. Yet Rick had a little faith in Cole. He discouraged him, thinking that his son was weak. For Rick, Cole was a huge disgrace in their family. Yet Cole did not stop reaching for his goals. While mopping floors, he never stopped believing in himself.

One day, while he was cleaning the simulation facility, he tried to ride on the test jet. The system was activated, which caught the attention of the admiral. Cole’s unparalleled flying skills were evident, which stunned the admiral while watching his tactics.  Cole had no idea that he had passed the obstacle and was enlisted in the Top Gun trials.

2.1 Royce Lundquist as Cole Summers

Cole Summers is the determined son of Rick. He started as an ordinary janitor with high hopes. When he was a kid, he dreamed of being a Navy pilot. But due to his leniency, people thought that he was a weakling, that even his own father doubted him. However, when he unleashed his flying skills, he reached his full potential and stood out among the rest.

Behind this exceptional character was the award-winning actor, Royce Lundquist. He was a singer, surfer and a freelance director based in Los Angeles, California. Here was Benjamin Watt, a theatre actor and stuntman. He was known for his villain and thug roles. Since he was tall and intimidating, it was not hard for him to earn action roles like this.
