Part 1: What Is Roaming the World Untamed Dailymotion All About?

Roaming the World Untamed Plot Summary

Roaming the World Untamed Dailymotion begins when Elena, Rian Calder’s mother, leaves him in the care of Aurelian, the last dragon species. Her time is running out. Giving birth to Rian has drained her of her life force, and she also lost her ability.

Rian’s father, Duke Alaric Calder, like in any other weak-to-strong Fantasy drama, is no good either. He has a mistress he had been seeing even before Rian was born. He would starve Elena and Rian, so the latter had to steal food from merchants so that they wouldn’t die from hunger. All of this, while Duke Alaric’s mistress and illegitimate son are living in luxury.

Aurelian accepted Rian and promised to teach him dragon magic until he became powerful enough that no one could rival him.

At first, Rian doesn’t understand his mother’s decision. He wanted to live with her, despite the hardship. However, he also knows his mother’s situation. So, he vows to train to become stronger and make Duke Alaric and Morgana pay for dishonoring his mother.

Ten years later, Rian made a name for himself. The House of Calder immediately brought him in and reinstated his title, hoping to ride his honor. Rian’s honor is theirs; his failures are his to own up to. Unfortunately, Rian has other plans.

He showed off his potential to catch his father’s eye, not to be recognized, but to disappoint them. Once he officially became a Calder, he wasted no effort to become a wastrel known across the Maple City. He drinks, gambles, and womanizes every single day—until an official letter from King Constantine summons him to participate in the knight’s duel.

The half-orcs declared that they’re going to marry Princess Isabel, unless a human could stop them. Weston, the strongest knight of Maple City, admits that even he could not defeat them. But when he went around to secretly test the nobles’ sons, he saw hope in Rian.

The day of the duel, everyone tried their best to at least hit the half-orc. Rian’s half-brother, Reynald, managed to wound one of them, but after that small victory, he was beaten half-paralyzed. Rian has no interest in being the hero saving the damsel in distress—until he sees Princess Isabel.

A memory from his childhood flashed in his mind. Back then, desperate to feed his mother, he stole bread from a store. He was caught and was about to be beaten up, when the young Isabel stepped in and paid for it.

To repay her kindness, Rian finally stopped pretending. He goes down the platform and challenges the half-orcs. He uses his magic and strength as a knight to defeat them. However, the half-breds are not the only threat to humanity.

When the Sanctum Sovereign Lord arrives, he announces that the seal to the Undead Legion’s King will be broken any moment—and only Rian’s dragon magic can save humanity.

Part 2: What Is Rian Calder’s Real Identity in Roaming the World Untamed?

Who Is Rian Calder?

Rian Calder is the first and legitimate son of Duke Alaric Calder in Roaming the World Untamed Dailymotion. He was born as a noble, but was never really treated as one. His mother, Elena, is the Holy Maiden of the Sanctum. She would have been a Dragon Speaker if she had not eloped with Duke Aldric and got pregnant.

Dragon Speakers are rare, and only come from the bloodline of the Holy Maidens. They are special because they are the only ones who could wield the dragon’s magic, the apex of the world. Elena could have enjoyed honor and power, yet she chose a man who would watch her and her son beg for food in the street while his mistress and other son live in luxury.

Rian grew up stealing food and starving. At a young age, he already faced the cruelty of the world. So, when Aurelian promised to teach him magic, he trained day and night. Eventually, he becomes a true Dragon Speaker. And with the extinction of dragons, he becomes the last in the line.

Part 3: Thoughts About The Roaming the World Untamed Dailymotion

Is Roaming the World Untamed Worth Watching?

If you enjoy fantasy dramas where an underestimated protagonist turns out to be the most powerful person in the room, Roaming the World Untamed Dailymotion might be worth adding to your watchlist.

It has the familiar elements of a weak-to-strong fantasy story: a neglected heir, an overpowered mentor, a terrible noble family, a childhood connection, and enemies who have no idea what they are getting themselves into.

Rian enjoys being the underdog, and the audience loves underestimated protagonists acting cool once the truth is revealed. The drama gives both to the audience.

The biggest appeal of Roaming the World Untamed is its combination of revenge, supernatural power, and a prophecy that places Rian at the center of a conflict far larger than his family troubles. The concept may not be new in the Fantasy space, but the familiarity is what gives nostalgia that invokes our very reason why we watch these kinds of dramas: entertainment.

Logic might be lost, it’s AI-generated, it’s expected, but we can close our eyes and just enjoy an hour and a half ride to Maple City.
