Part 1: The Journey of Rian Calder in Roaming the World Untamed YouTube

Roaming the World Untamed YouTube follows Rian Calder, the last Dragon Speaker, whose journey from a starving child to an exceptionally powerful knight and mage begins with a family that seems determined to win the award for worst parenting decisions.

The story opens with Elena, Rian’s mother, entrusting her newborn son to Aurelian, the Last Dragon. Giving birth to Rian has drained Elena of her life force and cost her the ability she once possessed. With her time running out, she makes the painful decision to leave her son in Aurelian’s care, hoping the dragon can give him a future she can no longer provide.

How worthless is Rian’s father that Elena had to give custody of her son to a dragon instead?

Rian’s father, Duke Alaric Calder, is hardly a better option. Despite being a nobleman, Alaric has a mistress named Morgana, whom he was already seeing before Rian was born. Instead of supporting his legitimate family, he allows Elena and Rian to suffer in poverty while Morgana and her illegitimate son enjoy a life of luxury.

Things become so desperate that young Rian has to steal food from merchants just to keep himself and his mother from starving. Apparently, being the son of a duke means very little when your father would rather spend his resources on his mistress than make sure his own child has something to eat.

For whatever reason, Aldric believes Elena is cheating, when he was the one doing it. Fortunately, Aurelian accepts Rian and promises to teach him dragon magic.

Rian Returns to the Calder Family

Ten years later in the Roaming the World Untamed movie, Rian has grown into a formidable warrior and mastered the dragon magic Aurelian taught him. With his return, the House of Calder quickly reinstates his noble title, hoping to benefit from his reputation and potential.

Unfortunately for them, Rian has absolutely no intention of becoming their obedient, long-lost heir. He initially demonstrates enough talent to catch his father’s attention, only to deliberately ruin his reputation once he is officially welcomed back into the family. He believes Alaric doesn’t have any right to claim the honor; he never shared the burden.

Rian’s act of recklessness continues until an official letter from King Constantine summons him to participate in a knight’s duel.

The challenge comes from a group of half-orcs who declare that they intend to marry Princess Isabel unless a human can defeat them. Their threat puts the princess and the honor of Maple City at stake. Unfortunately, the city’s strongest knight, Weston, admits that even he cannot defeat these powerful opponents.

When the day of the duel arrives, Rian initially has no intention of intervening. He has spent years hiding his true abilities, and saving Princess Isabel is not part of his plan. He’s not about to play hero for a damsel in distress just for a few gold bars.

Then he sees Isabel. Suddenly, a memory from his childhood returns. Back when Rian was desperate to find food for his starving mother, he stole bread from a shop and was caught. Just as he was about to be beaten by the merchant, the young Isabel stepped in and paid for the bread.

Rian never forgot her kindness. Now, with Isabel facing a threat of her own, he finally has a chance to repay her.

Rian abandons his act and steps onto the platform to challenge the half-orcs. Can Rian defeat the half-orcs and save Princess Isabel?

Part 2: Who Are the Characters in Roaming the World Untamed?

Rian Calder: The Last Dragon Speaker

Rian Calder is the protagonist of the Roaming the World Untamed movie and the legitimate son of Duke Alaric Calder and Elena, the Holy Maiden of the Sanctum. Despite his noble birth, Rian grows up in poverty because his father refuses to provide for him and his mother.

Because he has a worthless father, Aurelian, the Last Dragon, raised him at his mother’s request.

As the last Dragon Speaker, Rian is also humanity’s potential savior. With the seal imprisoning the Undead Legion’s King weakening, his power may be the only thing standing between humanity and disaster.

Elena: The Sanctum’s Holy Maiden

Elena is Rian’s mother and the Holy Maiden of the Sanctum. She has the highest compatibility with dragons, and with enough time, she would be a Dragon Speaker herself. But everything changes because of her relationship with Aldric.

After giving birth to Rian, Elena loses her life force and her abilities begin to fade. She’s dying, and the only one whom she could entrust to her son is Aurelian.

Princess Isabel: Princess of Maple City

Princess Isabel is an important figure in Rian’s past and the reason he eventually decides to fight the half-orcs.

Although Princess Isabel’s help may seem like a small gesture to someone of her status, it means everything to a starving child. Rian remembers her kindness even after ten years, and when the half-orcs threaten to marry her unless a human defeats them, he finally steps forward.

Part 3: Highlights of the Roaming the World Untamed YouTube

The scene where Rian has to fight the Undead General is probably the highlight of Roaming the World Untamed YouTube movie. The people at Sanctum don’t believe that Rian is the prophesied human who would defeat the Undead Legion. For them, he’s just the wastrel who only knows to drink and play with women.

There was also Lord Zoramus, pulling the strings behind the scenes to secure the heir position for his nephew Aether, the First Starspeaker.

However, when the Undead Legion ambushed them, Aether surprisingly set aside their rivalry to protect humanity. Rian fights the general head-on, and Aether fights with the mobs.

In the end, of course, the Sanctum won against the Undead Legion.
