On the same night, she was trapped in an empty room with a strange man she had never seen before. He was a dangerous arms dealer, escaping from his enemies. In order for him not to get caught, he pretended to be making out with Mia. He even kissed her torridly as if there’s no tomorrow. Mia, on the other hand, was stunned and infuriated. She slapped him hard in the face. But even though it was a strong blow, what he felt was not pain but an extraordinary attraction towards her.  

He could not help but admire her fierce behaviour, thinking that she was formidable enough to deal with his stubborn nature. Right then, Nolan realised what his late mom had told him before she died. He refused to continue the dealings when he learned that the general would only use it for their country’s child army. Although he was selling weapons, he would not let little ones commit themselves to violence. Back to the dinner party, Lucy, Mia’s bestie, was in a secret relationship with James.

Nolan was caught in a crossfire as the general and his team tried to kill him. To escape the general’s army, he had to act like he was making out with the woman he had just met.
