Part 1: What Is the Djinn Under Contract BiliBili Movie All About?

Djinn Under Contract is a 67-episode short drama streaming on Bilibili. It follows the story of Elijah Baran, a djinn who’s about to be free after completing his master’s five-year wish.

The Djinn Welcomes Another Master

Elijah Baran has served countless masters over the years. As a tradition, he only gives out three wishes per master. This year, a teenage boy, Steven Parrish, fished his lamp under the pond.

As per usual, Elijah gave Steven three wishes which the latter used two to become rich. Overnight, Steven becomes rich and he keeps Elijah’s lamp in a vault, saving his last wish for later.
