Part 1: What Is In Bed with My Brother in Law All About?

In Bed with My Brother in Law follows Bella Miller and all the reckless decisions she made without thinking everything through.

After her parents died, the once wealthy mafia clan collapses overnight. What remains are Bella, her sister, the Miller family name, and an old marriage contract with the Gotti Family. Apparently, even one of the richest mafia clans in the country didn’t have the foresight to prepare for the possibility that the people holding everything together might eventually die.

As the eldest daughter, Bella is left with the responsibility of fulfilling the arrangement. The Gottis are known for honoring their promises and contracts, so the agreement between the two families remains in place despite the Millers losing nearly everything.

But that doesn’t mean every member of the Gotti Family honors their word. There will always be bad apples among the family. Hunter Gotti, the youngest son, exhibits the trait.

Hunter has never treated Bella as his equal. Instead, he looks down on her as someone who is desperately clinging to the Gotti family name for protection. The irony is almost impressive considering Hunter himself seems to use his family name as a personal immunity card. His favorite pastime is asking people if they know who his brother is.

He openly disrespects Bella and even hooks up with his cousin, Mia Vance, despite being engaged to her. So when their wedding day finally arrives, you might expect Hunter to at least pretend to have some basic decency. He did not.

Instead of behaving like a normal groom, Hunter hides in the closet to advance his honeymoon—with Mia. Bella finally reaches her breaking point and calls off the engagement.

Hunter assumes Bella will eventually come crawling back, and Bella initially seems determined to prove him wrong. She meets Damian Gotti instead, and her life immediately takes a turn from terrible to dramatically more complicated.

Damian is supposed to attend his brother’s wedding, but a rival mafia group ambushes him on the way. Naturally, he fights back. Just as Damian is trying to escape his pursuers, drunk Bella pulls him into her room. Bella assumes Damian is the gigolo she ordered.

And because this is a mafia romance, apparently the logical response to a mysterious man appearing in your room is to flirt with him rather than ask a few basic questions.

Damian is initially irritated by Bella’s behavior, but he eventually realizes that staying with her helps him evade the people chasing him. So the terrifying mafia boss ends up hiding in a room with the woman who thinks he’s hired entertainment. Romance writers really looked at mistaken identity and decided it needed a mafia upgrade.

The encounter eventually leads to a one-night stand, and Bella wakes up the next morning horrified by what happened. She immediately leaves the room, but not before leaving some money behind as payment for what she still believes was the gigolo’s service.

After leaving Damian, she returns to Hunter to finalize the dissolution of their arranged marriage. Unfortunately, Hunter refuses to let her go. Instead of accepting the breakup like a reasonable human being, he kidnaps Bella’s younger sister and uses her as leverage.

Wrong call after wrong call, Bella not only has to deal with her crazy fiancé, she now even has to pacify the dangerous mafia boss and brother-in-law.

Part 2: Three Times Bella Made the Wrong Call in In Bed with My Brother in Law YouTube

If Mia made the right choices every time, then we probably wouldn’t have this mafia romance. But Bella didn’t. So today, we’re recalling every wrong call Bella made in In Bed with My Brother in Law.

1. Breaking Off the Engagement Without A Plan

Breaking off the engagement with Hunter without a plan would be the most understandable mistake. Everything happened so suddenly that Bella’s emotions took over first.

Bella absolutely has every reason to dump Hunter. He cheats on her with Mia, humiliates her, and clearly has no intention of treating her like a wife. The problem isn’t that she leaves him. The problem is that she doesn’t seem to have a plan for what comes next.

Bella finally makes the right decision by dumping Hunter. Unfortunately, she forgets to make a second right decision: figuring out how to protect herself and her sister afterward knowing what kind of person Hunter is.

She escaped a disaster, but invited another.

2. Sleeping with Damian Gotti without Knowing Who He Is

This is where the In Bed with My Brother in Law movie gets more chaotic. Bella is drunk. She thinks Damian is a gigolo, and ends up sleeping with him. Obviously, this is not exactly the kind of decision you make after carefully considering the consequences.

Isn’t she afraid she’d become the headline the next day? Well, nothing like that happened. But Bella’s second wrong call was assuming the mysterious man in her room was a gigolo. We can understand if he went inside her room, but Bella actually grabbed Damian in the hallway while he was busy escaping his enemies.

But let’s give it to Bella. One-night stands are completely normal. She’s single and about to end her engagement. Unfortunately, Bella doesn’t just make the mistake once. She discovers his identity afterward and somehow decides that the situation isn’t complicated enough already.

3. Bella Refuses Damian’s Offer

This is where your Bella could have saved us 20 episodes of In Bed with My Brother in Law YouTube. Damian is powerful. He clearly wants Bella. He can protect her. Hunter is abusive, manipulative, and holding Bella’s sister hostage.

But when Bella was faced with choices such as announcing her engagement with Hunter or cancelling it and instead getting engaged with Damian, she chose the former.

The reason? Her sister is in the hands of  Hunter. If Bella had stopped to think that Hunter is nothing in front of Damian’s protection, then she could have saved us 20 episodes of watching her get humiliated by Hunter and Mia. And maybe, just maybe, she could have spared herself anxiety about her sister’s safety.

The chemistry between Bella and Damian is what keeps the story moving. Their relationship starts with one misunderstanding, and somehow develops into something much more serious and dangerous, almost like a taboo.

Meanwhile, Hunter provides exactly the kind of villainous energy you’d expect from a mafia romance.
