Part 1. Explore The Monster In His Eyes’ Limitless Storyline

Back in 2014, Monster in His Eyes was released and became a certified hit. But this 2025, ReelShort recreated it into a short film. So, let us explore what was behind the plot that made its fans crave for it. This story revolved around Ignazio “Naz” Vitale and Karissa Reed. He was a mafia boss while she was a stubborn college student.

It all started when Karissa was struggling to define herself. Forced to be married to a powerful man named Tommy Kantos, she aimed to escape the life she never wanted to live. However, her mom believed that Tommy was the right one for her. So, even if she hated the man, she was forced to get close to him.

But what her mother did not know about was the violent nature of Tommy. While Karissa tried to get out of his hideous hands, Tommy beat her up. It was then that Naz stepped into the scene and rescued the poor girl. Their paths crossed by a very random chance. She did not expect that she would meet a notorious man with a golden heart.

Little did she know, Naz hid a dangerous past and had just come out of prison. In the underground world, he was he feared mafia king. But to Karissa, he looked like an ordinary gunman whom she believed could be a good bodyguard for her. It was the main reason why she chose to follow him after he saved her from Tommy.

She found herself in a den where virgins were sold to rich billionaires. Blindfolded and clueless, she was presented to the auction as one of the women trafficked. It was then that Naz found her again and took her to his mansion. It was then that she realised that he was not someone she could mess with.

Karissa was desperate to find refuge. She could not leave Naz’s side now that Tommy was already tracking her down. Despite the warnings, she still chose to stay. Time passed, and Naz started to fall in love, which he always tried to fight. Karissa, on the other hand, discovered that he was more than his tough façade.

Tommy Kantos was the hideously arranged husband of Karissa. Coming from a rich and prominent family of crime syndicates, he believed that he could get anything he wanted. He viewed marriage as a transaction and forced Karissa to fall for him. Taking advantage of his status, he became a threat to Karissa and Naz’s budding romance.

The man who portrayed this antagonistic role so well was Daniel O’Sullivan. He started his acting career years ago and landed on different indie films. 2.4 Kristin Case Parker as Corrine

Corrine was the female villain of this ReelShort series. Due to Naz’s kindness towards her, she thought he liked her. So, she used her seductive aura to lure him under her charm. Her goal was to be his wife and enjoy his filthy riches. Threatened by Karissa’s presence, she undermines her and poisons Naz’s mind to choose her.

Meet the New York–based actress who played Corrine’s role, Kristin Case Parker. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and started as a theatre actress. Grace Reed was the misguided mother of Karissa. She was the one who pushed her own daughter into danger. While trying to keep Karissa safe, she had no idea about the real deal happening. She thought Tommy was a great match for Karissa. In the end, she regretted what she did and apologised.

The American actress, Nicole Kontolefa, was the one who played this role so well. She came from New York’s Lower East Side. Later on, she underwent training at the Moscow Art Theatre Conservatory. To find the mysterious guy who saved her, she went to the Bloodstone Mafia King’s Virgin Auction. While she roamed around backstage, the hostess mistook her for one of the virgins. So, Karissa was forcibly blindfolded and presented to the auctioneers. With her young and delicate figure, one of the perverted mob bosses bought her for one million.

After Karissa came to Naz’s mansion, she wanted to get his approval. With his gun knowledge and great fighting skills, she hoped to hire him as her personal bodyguard. Yet he seemed not interested in doing that. So, to convince him, she tried to seduce him. But as she was about to kiss him, a coquettish lady walked down the stairs.
