The supposed closeness between Sienna and Evan would drive Ariel far from Evan.

Honestly, I think the most important thing that was lacking between the male and female actors is communication. This is speaking of when they were in college together.

Okay, so if Ariel liked Evan, and Evan was spending a lot of time with her, that means he liked her too, right? So did they talk about it?

Because if not, Sienna did no wrong in snatching or trying to snatch Evan from Ariel. For crying out loud, she liked him too.

So?

If Evan and Ariel were not ready to define their relationship, others were free to try to get Evan.
