Plot Summary

ReelShort Waterboy full movie is an interact LGTBQIA romance drama about two young individuals embarking on a journey about identity and love. Kaden Russel and Donovan Miller—two completely opposites students with future so bright, you can’t help but admire them from afar.

Kaden is the new student body president. Articulate, visionary, and reliable, he runs the committee with the mixture of compassionate and fearlessness. He’s the kind to never raise your suspicions or your doubts because of his never-ending capabilities.

Despite his achievements, students still find reasons to disrespect him. For one, he’s openly gay. He’s not ashamed to claim control over his identity and persists against the judgment they constantly throw over him.

Unfortunately, the school isn’t yet too progressive to accept the queer community. They still play on stereotypes and some of it harms Kaden, in a way that insults his individuality. He tries to educate them, though, but there’s no use when they’re not even willing to listen.

The next thing is, he’s always targeted by the quarterbacks who think bullying him would make them more masculine. Right up on the list is Donovan Miller, the star quarterback and the school’s ace in sports. He’s charming, arrogant, and dangerously attractive. Kaden avoids him for a reason. When an argument ensues between about the school activity funds, Kaden finally snaps and fights back. He dyes the uniform of Donovan’s whole team in rainbow, a cold response to his cruel remark about his sexuality. It’s a harmless prank that he intends to do nothing but annoy him.

Julian Enriquez joins the Waterboy cast as the actor who plays Justin Ready. Justin is a member of Donovan’s football team and the homophobic, hypocritical bully of Kaden. He’s conceited and self-entitled of everything he doesn’t even deserves.

To satisfy his gigantic ego, he preys on students he knows won’t fight. Kaden’s one of them and his ferocity angers him in a sense that he wishes to resort to violence. Beneath it all, though, he’s a crybaby with lots of emotional baggages and tantrums to show.
