Part 1. The Fierce Story Behind The Seamstress Is The Duchess

In the outskirts of Castleton lived a widow seamstress named Mary Brown. Although not blessed with abundance, she and her daughter, Kate, were happy and contented with what they had.

One stormy night, Mary bumped into a wounded soldier while walking through the woods. With her compassionate heart for those in need, she never hesitated to help him.

Mary had no idea who the man was. What only mattered to her was to save him at all costs. To escape his enemies, she hid him inside her small cottage and mended his injuries.

Without asking any questions, she wholeheartedly offered him food and shelter. Little did she know, he happened to be the exiled prince, Lawrence of Eldenmoor.

Upon the arrival of his enemies, Mary did not dare to divulge Lawrence. She told them that he went to the church.  After she successfully deceived the bad guys, Lawrence thought of leaving.

He could not stay, or else Mary would be in trouble. Without telling her the truth about his identity, Lawrence bade goodbye.

Yet before he could leave, he gave her a precious red stone as a token of his appreciation. He told Mary that he would come back and repay her for all the good things she had done for him.

Prince Lawrence

Prince Lawrence was destined to inherit the silver throne. He was a principled man raised to be a formidable leader. When his father died, her vicious uncle tried to steal the throne and put him in the dungeon.

Betrayed by his own blood, he escaped and was helped by an ordinary seamstress. He hid inside her cottage and was shown immense hospitality.

He took it as a big gesture of kindness and promised that once he came back, he would repay her. After three long years, Lawrence won the throne and was crowned as the king. Now that he had already succeeded with his mission, it was his duty to fulfil his promise to the seamstress and make her the grand duchess.

Eric Lutz was the talented hunk who played Prince Lawrence’s role. He was an award-winning actor in both film and TV. Originally from Kansas, Eric was now living his showbiz life in Los Angeles.

However, she was mistreated by the family of her husband. Later on, she was violated and was convicted of a crime she didn’t commit.

Kate was Hailey Rutledge in real life. She came from the Midwest and graduated from Wake Forest University. Now, she works under the Aqua Talent and Lewk Management as a model and an actress. She started her career as a Disney princess at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Theresa Corbon and Edward of Mordred

These people were the main antagonists in the film. Theresa Corbon was Kate’s mother-in-law, who had a hideous nature. She only wanted nothing but misery for Kate and Mary, claiming that she was the next Grand Duchess.

Edward was the baron who violated Kate and used his authority to silence the witnesses.

Felix Corbon

Felix Corbon was Kate’s husband and Theresa’s only son. He was a crippled man riding on his wheelchair. However, he was not able to defend her own wife against his cruel uncle, Edward.

Threatened not to be given any wealth, he chose to join the bad side and betrayed Kate in exchange for status as the future viscount.

However, due to his cowardice, Felix stood on her side and told everyone that Kate was nothing but a sham. Felix chose to abandon Kate in exchange for his throne.

Kate and Mary were about to be executed in the middle of everybody at the town plaza. Accused of the sins they never committed, they were bound to die at any second. When suddenly a troop came, it was led by Lawrence. He came to save them. At first, he was doubted, but when Lord Oscar came, he proved that Lawrence was the newly hailed king.
