Erik is a professional, skilled programmer, totally devoted to Dorsey Tech. After a long night working in the office, he finds himself drifting off to sleep on his desk.
Mistook for a regular worker, Erik gets fired by William Dorsey, the CEO’s son. Wiliam is an entitled person, arrogant and fool. He gets tricked by Eric Martin, a lazy employee, who uses the coincidental name resemblance to the tech genius Erik Martin, to assume the merits for the company’s success.
As if getting kicked out of the company he watched and helped grow in the past years wasn’t enough, Erik walks in on Fernanda and William making out. Fernanda has little consideration for her former boyfriend, considering him a mere piece of trash.
Witnessing the commotion happening on Dorsey Tech company grounds, Evelyn Hendricks steps in and defends Erik. In the spur of the moment, she offers Erik a position in her company, Hendricks Tech.
Evelyn knows Erik’s value and needs a talent like his in her company, thus she makes an offer he can’t refuse. Apart from the large salary, she offers herself a bonus.
Erik finds the proposition tempting, but he’s also drawn to the idea of taking down his former company. As Erik and Evelyn make a deal, William realizes that Eric who remained in his company is nothing but a lazy slacker. He is incapable of dealing with major programming projects.
Nevertheless, the game between the two companies becomes more and more interesting. The two of them battle for projects and investors. William tries to get Erik back and Evelyn does the best she can to keep the guy under her spell.
Although Erik and Evelyn’s relationship begins like a game, they become pretty serious about each other. Erik proves his leadership skills, by having former colleagues resign from Dorsey Tech and coming to work for him at Hendricks Tech.

Movie Review
For once, a short drama series brings forward a badass billionaire heroine instead of a rich guy, ready to help a damsel in distress. She’s powerful, wealthy and she’s bold enough to confront men on their own turf.
Evelyn is one interesting character in You Fired a Tech Genius short drama. She’s dominant and cold, yet around Erik she becomes soft as a marshmallow. The whole idea of tech companies competing for supremacy in the industry is entertaining.
They love to sabotage each other, create ruses, and steal employees, not to mention projects and investors. The game is wicked, but it’s fun and it represents the core of the story.
You never know what happens next, whether Erik will go back to Fernanda, strike a deal with William Dorsey, or stay faithful to Evelyn. He chooses the latter option, as Evelyn gave him a hand when he needed it the most. Plus, he fell in love with her!
Erik may be aware of his skills and professional potential, but he’s a fair guy and he’s devoted to Hendricks Tech. And, most of all, he’s faithful to the woman he loves.
He has a rags-to-riches journey, becoming a powerful tech company leader from being an exploited employee, with no merits credited to his outstanding work.
