Arthur Morgan was one of the few men who survived World War III. But life had been dire since he found himself strolling around the devastated post-apocalyptic world. With only a few foods left, it was so hard for him to look for something to eat. To survive, he had to collect scraps and trade them for some relief goods.

Every day was a challenge for him. He used to be bullied and became the centre of ridicule. All his life, he had been dealing with such mistreatment. Until one day, during his scavenger hunt, he saw a mysterious silver ring on a dead man’s body. Out of curiosity, he took it and wore it on his finger.

He thought that it was just another piece of junk that he could trade for something to eat. To his surprise, the ring lit up and welcomed him to an unknown system.  It was powered by alien technology. In the next second, it designated him as its host, putting him into a survival protocol. But if he failed to comply, he would die.

Although he wanted to remove the ring, he could no longer take it off. He was already bonded to its brutal rules. While going through the busy trading alley, he found two crying ladies. They turned out to be the fallen heiress from the Linton clan, Mary and Karen. Arthur went closer to know what was happening.

Mary and Karen were being sold to the right bidder. Ruthless eyes were feasting over them. The moment he looked at the poor ladies, the system order activated. Arthur had to save them, or else he would die. Left with no choice, he surrendered the two canned goods and the chocolate bar that he had.
