He suffered from Virgil and Lilith’s betrayal, which caused a deep wound in his heart. Yet as he met Trish, he found new hope to start again. His heart opened once more and let go of the fear of falling apart.

It would not be possible if Dante did not learn to let go of his love for Lilith. He no longer allowed bitterness to consume his heart and just focused on what was more important. His journey showed how heartbreak could be a motivation to move forward. In reality, a failed relationship is not the end of it all, but a life challenge to learn from.

4.2 It Should Not Be One-Sided

Another splendid lesson to get from this short drama was about having a give-and-take relationship. In the past, Dante was the only one showing love to Lilith. He sacrificed the most and risked everything for her. With that, Lilith felt so complacent and thought that choosing his older brother would be a better idea.

When Trish entered Dante’s life, things drastically changed. Without expecting anything in return, they both gave out the love they both deserved. She remained by his side during his toughest times rather than aiming for personal gain. Because in truth, genuine love meant choosing each other even at the most challenging part of their lives.
