His main agenda was to rescue mutant victims and expose the real colours of General Hawthorne.

Ivy Keane was known for being a fatal mutant who was labelled as a monster. With one touch, she could kill people easily. For years, she was trapped in the secret laboratory. To live with such powers was like a curse for her. She never asked for it, and so she had to isolate herself from the innocent people.

Back when she was little, she unintentionally killed her mom and her childhood best friend. That terrifying gift only made her hate herself. It turned out that he skin was poison, bringing anyone in her contact instant death. With that, she realised that if only she could get the antidote, then she could finally free herself from that unwanted situation.

As she stepped into her teenage years, she found out about the elite academy for gifted people like her. In exchange for the cure, she would be one of the biggest assets of the army. So, she followed whatever General Hawthorne told her. She had to be trained, and once the war was about to begin, she would be fronting the battalion.   

Her trainer? The hot and handsome top cadet, Xaden Bragg. It was her duty to take down the mysterious fugitive, Iron Ghost. Yet Xaden had been aiming to take that man down, believing that he was the reason behind his brother’s death. So, on their first meeting, he treated her like an enemy, bringing her too much tension.

Ivy was indeed a timid and anxious newcomer. But her undeniable ability made her the number one target of the bullies around her. Surprisingly, Xaden was there to protect her, not knowing why he had the urge to keep her safe. As time went by, Xaden and Ivy grew an uncontrollable attraction. Yet she still had to pursue that one impossible mission to track down Iron Ghost.

So, Ivy and Xaden secretly teamed up to capture that fugitive. During those moments, an unexpected miracle happened before their eyes. Her deadly powers did not affect Xaden. After their stunning discovery, a far darker conspiracy was about to unfold. It turned out that General Hawthorne was the mastermind of all the anomalies.

With Ivy and Xaden’s efforts, they found out that the Iron Ghost was not the main enemy.  He was Ronan, the long-lost brother of Xaden. Now, they all had to unite before General Hawthorne unleashed the engineered mutants into the world.
