Dream On Plot Summary

Dream On BiliBili begins with Lexington Hall accepting the Best Youth Actor Award after his theater performance goes viral and turns him into Hollywood’s latest rising star. Suddenly, scripts, acting opportunities, and endorsement deals come pouring in.

He is living the dream that countless aspiring actors would do almost anything to achieve. Unfortunately, Lexington seems to have forgotten that he is supposed to be grateful for it.

Instead of delivering a heartfelt acceptance speech, Lexington uses the opportunity to curse out the entertainment industry and the media. He even declares that he will never return to acting, leaving Hollywood in absolute chaos. You’ll really be surprised what a burned-out teenager could do.

His mother and manager, Veronica Hall, immediately tries to clean up the mess. Unfortunately, Lexington has already decided that the best way to deal with his problems is to disappear. He flees to Maple Creek, a countryside town with a community college, hoping to escape the suffocating demands of his celebrity life.

Instead of making a peaceful getaway, Lexington finds himself surrounded by frantic fans at the airport. Apparently, escaping fame is considerably harder when everyone knows exactly where you are going.

Determined to fulfill that wish, Stevie trains day and night for the role of Elizabeth in the Pride and Prejudice stage production.

For Stevie, this audition is a chance to honor someone she loves and prove that her dreams are worth pursuing. Then Lexington crashes her car while trys to escape his overly enthusiastic fans.

Stevie nearly misses her audition because of the Hollywood star’s reckless escape plan. Fortunately, Stevie makes it to Maple Creek College in time for her audition. Unfortunately, her scene partner ditches her at the last minute. All thanks to the mean girls at the college.

Because apparently, the universe has decided that Stevie’s audition needs as many obstacles as possible.

Just when Stevie’s audition seems doomed, Lexington watches her perform and discovers something he has not felt in a long time: a genuine spark of passion for acting.
