Part 1. What We Know About Freeze Runaway Groom Characters

1.1 Ivy Adair

Ivy Adair is the female protagonist in the movie Freeze, Runaway Groom. She is a 25-year-old auto mechanic possessing a resilient and strong personality. On the outside, she might look formidable.

But underneath her dirty coveralls and hands filled with grease, she had a compassionate heart, especially for her dad. She believed that anything broken still had a chance to be fixed.

She was raised in a modest small town where she enjoyed living with her dad. Growing up, she was taught a lot about fixing vehicle issues. So, she became a great mechanic.

But, her half-sister, Beatrice, loved ruining her. That constant battle stopped when Byron entered her life, giving her a new perspective on dealing with challenges.

Elena Flury is the awesome actress behind this enigmatic role. Aside from being an actress, she is also a soul R&B singer. She came from Zurich, Switzerland and went to Giles Foreman Centre in London for her professional acting training.

1.2 Byron Carter

Here is Byron Carter, a striking hot race car driver aspirant and the heir of a wealthy family. He is the runaway groom in the story. He has that undeniable magnetic and rebellious charm that all the ladies love. But his dreams of making a name in the car racing field were a huge challenge for him.

Despite his cool and stubborn attitude, he also had a soft spot in his heart. He might be emotionally guarded. But Byron is one tough guy when it comes to love. Although he might be looking like his life was all about speed and cars, he gave a great sentiment towards his late dad.

Often labelled as a carefree playboy, Byron tried to realize his dream: to be a full-fledged car race driver. Yet his mom wanted him to take over their business. Yet his reckless nature changed when he met Ivy.

The actor who brought Byron’s role in real life is Elijah Rowen. He is a talented actor and producer who underwent his training at Dublin’s prestigious Gaiety School of Acting. He was known for his compelling roles in the hit series Vikings.

1.3 Beatrice Bennett

There is no drama completed without the presence of the villain. That role belonged to Beatrice Bennett. She is the half-sister of Ivy. Her mission was to make Ivy’s life hard.

She might appear elegant and presentable to the public eye. Yet, she was innately jealous and insecure towards Ivy. Beatrice saw her as a big threat to getting the life she wanted. So, she pushed her to marry the stubborn heir, Byron.

This complex character was well-portrayed by the sassy actress, Amy Cray Edgell. She came from London, known for her exemplary performances and striking screen appearances.

1.4 Tony Adair

Tony Adair is Ivy’s loving father. He is the reason behind Ivy’s decision to marry Byron. He was the emotional anchor in the short drama Freeze Runaway Groom.

This compassionate and kind-hearted man was full of wisdom and told Ivy everything about fixing cars. When he got into an accident, Ivy was shattered. She promised that she would do anything just to save her dad’s precious life.  

1.5 Mabel Carter

Mabel Carter is Byron’s mom. Living life without his father, she wanted Byron to help him run their business. Since she was getting old, she could no longer address the needs of the big empire that was left to her. She thought that if Byron stopped pursuing his racing career, things would be better.

Ivy Adair found herself in a very hard situation. With her beloved dad’s life in critical condition, she had no choice but to accept her half-sister’s condition. Beatrice offered her the position that was supposed to be hers.

But since Beatrice didn’t want to be tied to a stubborn man like Byron, she thought that Ivy could do it on her behalf. Ivy accepted it in exchange for a huge amount of money.

Left with no choice, she stepped into marrying Byron. However, during her wedding day, Byron did not show up. It had been hours, and everyone was waiting for his arrival. Ivy was caught in the middle of humiliation, which was exactly what Beatrice wanted.

But for Ivy’s dad, she would do anything just to continue the wedding. With that, she looked for Byron and found him in a garage with his friend. Byron was problematic about his dad’s old car. He was eager to fix it, for it was the most important remembrance he had.

So, when Ivy heard his sentiment, she promised to fix it in exchange for his willingness to marry her. Byron took the deal, thinking that Ivy could not do it anyway.

Yet to his surprise, Ivy perfectly managed to fix his car in no time. For him, it was a miracle. So, he had no choice but to say I do. As the people in the church started to get cranky, Byron and Ivy held hands, walking down the aisle. Everyone was astounded, not expecting that Byron would appear. Mabel, his mother, was also thrilled to see her son finally getting married.

Knowing that Ivy and Byron had polar opposite personalities, it was hard for them to get along. Their marriage was just a cold arrangement, so both of them made some rules, including no intimacy, no love.

At first, it was easy for them to promise not to fall in love. But as time went by and their feelings started to bloom, things became complicated.
